SOMEbody just haaaaad to go and pop off about it being 80 degrees in Texas and angered the MoBob. So,what do we do when Bruce pokes the bear? We stop for coffee. This vision of loveliness is Bambi, my local purveyor of fine food, legally addictive stimulants, and overall feelings of happiness. Submitted with BMR App Version 2.14.
I have had the desire to do a SaddleSore 1000 for quite some time now and decided that Sunday (9/13) was the day to get it done. Left Odessa headed out west through Van Horn, El Paso, Anthony, Lordsburg, NM and finally Wilcox, AZ which was the turn around point. Then it was back home following the same route for a total of 1,049 miles. Great Ride! Great Weather! Great Day! Up Next – Burn Burner 1500 next month. Good conditioning for the 2016 Big Money Rally. See you all very soon, it’s right around the corner. Regards – David — Sent from my iPhone via Gmail Mobile

I only had to go 3 miles for the word of the day but my apartment’s plow guy had other ideas. After digging it out it wouldn’t start. First time in nearly 100k miles of ownership she let me down.
Here is a good PP for you! Last night, Walt and I went to a reception for the movie Take it to the Limit. Here we are with Peter Starr, the force behind the movie and Arlo Guthrie, whose motorcycle song – “I don’t want a pickle, I just want to ride my motorcycle…” was in the film. Cool stuff! Picture includes the boiled peanut king, Papa John himself had me ride into the warehouse for the shot. And he gave me a bag of nuts to take home. Now that’s alright.
Meet Jack Harrison. Jack took the two-day class to get his endorsement on March 14-15th this year. He got his endorsement at the DOL on March 17th. He got his insurance card last night. This morning is the first time he rode his bike in to work. He has been itching ask week to ride the bike. He has been shopping for accessories and planning road trips. He still thinks that he must get off the bike to pee, I’ll let him know about those options later.
Thanks for all of the nice hugs and such that you all shared with me last night at the banquet.
Here I am with my newest Texas friend, Paul Slaton. And, I’m holding the famous Minion that’s been traveling all over with Steve Bellen. Thank you Steve, and ..I’ll take good care of him and attempt to keep him with me in my travels …I’ll share the pics.
If you don’t like the way I ride, stay off the sidewalk.
Luvs and Hugs,
