  1. Hey all you intrepid BMR adventurers! It’s awesome to see these WF photos pop up. The local Whole Foods stepped up to help the this class of inner city kids go to camp and hopefully every photo you take will be a small advertisement of WF’s corporate generosity. The students come back to school next week and it will be fun for them to watch your progress in real time. They can’t really get their head around the fact that you all are traveling around the ENTIRE COUNTRY by motorcycle – can that even be done?! – so in one way you are opening up a whole new world for them. Each one of them is so proud of this project and very appreciative for the extra excitement level that you and Reno are bringing. Thank you all so much!

  2. Lisa,

It’s our pleasure to do this. You probably don’t realize that, for many of us, this rally opens up new vistas for the riders as well. Just when we think we’ve been everywhere, a new set of bonus locations are presented. GREAT FUN and I’m glad to be able to help your kids expand their horizons as well.

  3. So bright and early yesterday, two shiny, big tour buses picked up the fifth graders for their three day Sky Ranch adventure. According to my daughter, so far it’s been wonderful with lots of new experiences for the students: how to make smores, what a campfire is all about, using sleeping bags and more. Probably my favorite is a text I got late last night:
“Sitting out by the lake tonight and these kids are like…Miss, what’s that noise? Mom, they didn’t know what frogs sound like.” Just wanted to give you a little taste of what this experience is bringing to about 75 eleven and 12 year olds. More soon including pics but RJ is gonna have to post those for me. Thanks again everyone!!!!
